Old Light Measured By Hyperstructure Constant

This is a most appropriate subject for an Astronomy God & Science forum. The Young Earth Creation science is a house of cards that collapses if that science cannot explain how our Milky Way can be 100,000 light years in extent. That means that light that astronomers collect
from stars in our own galaxy is much more than 10,000 years old.

Now the way that astronomical data is used to measure the speed of old light is to calculate the hyperfine constant from it. There is an article on this in the most recent issue of the New Scientist. The speed of light is inversely proportional to this constant.

What the article says is that the speed of light was one millionth (0.0001%) faster in light that is 12 billion years old. This is very upsetting to physics, and a disaster for YEC as it proves that light has been essentially constant for at least 12 billion years.

So the YEC house of cards collapses. It cannot even account for old light that is being emitted by stars in our own galaxy. We on this Astronomy forum should all come to understand this very direct experimental proof that YEC astronomy is incorrect science. It is a religion, not a science.

Regards,

Richard
