To me the easy way out is to be your own God, and not to have anyone to answer too. That's the easiest way out.

"What if Jesus was human with flaws and all, but had an outlook on life that was filled with peace and tolerance?"

Then he was not a savior who died on a cross. Many people say what you say, that Jesus was just a nice guy who wanted peace. No. Jesus claimed to be the son of God, so either he was the son of God, or he was a raving lunatic. I believe he was God. What about you? KC2GWX 73's
