Just unknown properties? What about the existence of mild discrepancies? I get the impression that you think mild discrepancies should be non-existent in order to consider a theory to be true. If that's the case, then we should reject the notion that the sun operates on fusion. Mild discrepancies in our models of the sun still exist.
