and no I cannot speak for the entire scientific community. I'm not sure you read what I said closely.

I said that A MAJORITY of scientists believe that the theory of evolution is the model to follow. Evidence supports the theory of evolution. If A MAJORITY felt that creationism was the scientific model to follow then evolution would fall by the wayside. However, evolution will not fall by the wayside because the evidence across all sorts of sciences supports the evolutionary theory.

Yes, evolution makes logical sense. The theory that those organisms who are able to pass their DNA from one generation to another because of particular "adaptations" that occur makes logical sense.
