Pomeranians and dachunds and rottweilers did all come from one dog kind. But they did not "evolve" from that common kind. That ancester had all the
genetic information for all the types of dogs there are now. So through selective breeding we
have created many new types of dogs, but that common ancester did not "evolve" into another animal with new genetic information. In fact, all the news kinds of dogs results in a loss of genetic information. For example, you can not breed a pomereranian into a rottweiler.KC2GWX 73's
