Certainly. They are both logical and illogical.
It's a continuum of logic: not "yes or no, but how logical or illogical?
To evaluate each instance usefully, I propose the following:

How illogical are they?
Do they appear to be familiar with accurate data sources?
How important are the illogical parts of their work?
Does the illogic cause them to reach obviously fallacious conclusions?
Are they trying to be funny?
Are they trying to be logical?
Are they trying to be annoying?
Are they just posting buzz and walking away with the more coherent responses (ie. CIA or university research programs)
