Aurino,

You are inferring facts based on evidence. You know that you do not know absolutely, however you evidently think you are justified in making certain judgments based on the evidence. In this case, there is reason to connect multiple posters to one person, however whatever shabby evidence that is able to get you thinking in this manner, the success of the scientific method far outweighs any of this hypothesizing. The big bang has far, far more evidence than you do that Scott is Mario (or Mario is Scott - if you look at it from "Scott's" perspective).

Incidentally, in all fairness to any individual, some people may want us to forget about their former pen name because when they originally logged on they may later have regretted that they gave their real name. So, I think all of this guessing is fun and all, but at the same time I think the people who have been here awhile may recognize a newcomer as someone who's been here before, but we should ignore this and just go with their new name. So, if anyone here would like to change their names to some other to provide better anonymity, you can count on me to not say "hey, aren't you so and so?".

And, btw, I don't think Scott is Mario. The phraseology, vocabulary, and knowledge level is completely different. If you look at Cliff and Scott, you see a similar literary style. On the other hand, Mario is much more subdued and careful. In any case, I don't wish to debate such issues. It is meaningless to me. So, don't try to convince me. Let's drop it.

Warm regards, Harv
