As long as we're interpreting a book,
it might be worth testing our comprehension.
Do you want to be boss of the Bible for other
Americans? Could you possibly be repeating
a mistake that others have made in 20 centuries
since Jesus Christ? That would be to say
you have never violated the 10 commandments --
have you ever borne false witness against your neighbor, not knowing you had done so, because in
your cozy world, you did not have all the information? The Sixties were a decade. If you think the country was damaged by the Sixties,
I think you are implying that certain persons
did the damage. However, you migh be mistaken.
If you were mistaken, having blamed those persons, that would make you a violator of the 7th Commandment.
The history of the world has been full of
lives of persons who do not have to justify themselves to you, but only to God. If, as you say, you don't know much, then maybe you should
try not to violate the 7th Commandment.
