I think Aurino's point is well-taken, that if we want to be taken seriously, it is sometimes distracting to have spelling errors since it is a first clue of hurriedness (is that a word?) and that we did not learn all the junior high school rules before we proceeded to play on the adult field..or are too lazy to use a spell-checker.
