Scott,

I've never pissed on anyone, and I won't start with you.

***Are you dismissing the quantum theory of reality as "good movie making material"?***

Not at all, I think it is very possibly correct (at least in this world). But, there are other possibilities and if quantum cosmology is incorrect it still makes for good movies.

***Again, I must say that existence can be reduced to random encounters of subatomic particles and that is it!!!***

So the universe isn't mathematical? Why do the equations work so well at making excellent predictions, dumb luck?

***All our science and philosophy is only useful if you perceive the world as a human, and does nothing for us other than give us the illusion of order and symmetry as seen from our vantage point.***

That's a lot of dumb luck, don't you think?

***I think we are all hung up on fundamental truths and the beauty of mathematical formulas and rational logic. Those things only get us, the humans, through the day. So we go on patting ourselves on the back for all the great things we have done down here on little earth, and pretend as though we "understand" things about reality when, in essence, there is no reality, no time, no now - just internal response to outside stimuli. A macroscopic view of the random and chaotic microscopic reality that is.***

When you say there is 'no reality' are you talking about solipsism? It would seem to me that there is an 'out there' that's out there.

Warm regards, Harv
