Who's Telling The Nuclear Power Guys Anything?

Harv,

You misunderstand me. I'm trying to make sense of my own life, just as you are trying to make sense of yours. I need all the help I can get, and then some. I need help from science, religion, philosophy, art, but most of all I need help from my own rational mind.

When science helps me make sense of the universe I accept it, otherwise I reject it, but that's only for my own personal worldview. When it comes to running nuclear power plants, or even running hot-dog stands, I have no intention of telling the people in charge what to do. It's their business and they understand it better than anyone else.

When it comes to running my life, though, I need no more help from the power plant guys than I need from the hot-dog vendor. You, somehow, seem to think nuclear plant folks know more about life than hot-dog vendors. I happen to think quite the opposite.

Hope someday you'll undestand me, but for now I'm tired.
