We have to remember that the stories in the Bible are centered basically on the primise that this is a war between Heaven & Satan. There are many casualties on both sides. What better way to destroy ones' enemy than to infiltrate the ranks of ones' enemies. God made the universe, but he needed a battlefield. Earth, in my opinion is that battlefield. But also, we go into the realm of free will here and that subject can go really deep. I do not pretend to know what God's plans are for anyone, but I do know that the rules that He lay down before us are not entirely unreasonable. |
