Hi Aurino,

I'm certainly no Dick-worshipper, as no doubt you realise.

I thought it was a cool idea, the idea that physics was circular. That the laws of physics reduce to the law of non-contradiction. That tallies with the idea of maximum freedom, minimum constraint. That all things come from Existence.

I sensed early on that Dick's ideas were covered by my more general "pattern-matching" ideas. His explanations of his ideas allowed me to understand enough to see what game he was playing. It seems to make sense; but I think he is excessively narrow in his approach; that he makes unnecessary and exaggerated philosophical claims!

I am grateful to him for adding fuel to the fire of my own idea-discoveries. I think the essence of his paper can be done in a much simpler and more direct way.

I am intereseted in what is true, whether Dick or anyone else finds something that looks true doesn't matter compared to what it is they find.
