(since everyone decided to post to specific individuals recently, so will I...)

Alan,

Since we both are members of the Dick-worshipping trio, do you mind if I ask you what is it about Dick's paper that so excites you?

Paul has already explained it, I think he once said he had a vision in which some entity prophesized that he would one day meet a guy who would derive the laws of physics from a set of numbers. I can certainly understand Paul's excitement.

Me, I'm just a guy with asinine beliefs about science, so it's nice to meet someone who shares my asinine beliefs despite the fact that he holds a PhD in physics. I can hardly express my excitement at learning I'm not the only being on this planet who thinks Einstein was a fool.

But you, Alan, I don't think you ever made it clear why you find Dick's paper so interesting, and I'm really curious as to what you found in it.

Somewhat humorously,

Aurino
