After I posted the above, I thought of another approach:

Sure we don't need to define God, we have a very thick book concerned with the subject. For anyone born in a Christian country, the best definition of God is the one found in the bible.

So now the question becomes a lot clearer. "Does God exist"? If by God you mean the God defined in the bible, the answer is a clear, loud NO.
