Are you saying someone at MIT claims to know me?
I'm not the Michael Pearson who has a university position and attends conferences, though there are a few. I have posted at several forums since 1995, usually in similar topics to ours..

Most likely, you are referring to my taking your statement at face value. Maybe you made the whole thing up to see if I could play along.
