We can transmit information atomistically.
We can do rudimentary AI that way.
This is not a philosophical claim. It need not disturb one's universe to admit something already exists. One may still work toward the kind of universe one favors.

"Correct" or "incorrect" -- you may freely reject it and you will not be "incorrect." It's a choice of definitions for the purpose of discussing phenomena.
