As you might see, some here wonder if I have am posting too much on this list. To me it has been like a Quaker meeting in which I felt called to speak. It does run its course.

Your post here says much, to which no immediate response is required. A short response here
to a possible difference of opinion:

In some ways yes, and I respect the importance of this idea in so many ways.
Also, in some ways humans are a special case. As biological phenomena, humankind performs in a whole new way, having so much mental processing capacity, which results in making plans, agreements and in having agreed processes for complex debate.

This planet has many rampant (fast spreading)species, including humankind, knapweed and cheat grass, various insects, certain opportunistic rodents, milfoil, and others. What distinguishes us is partly that we are more responsible for our acts than those. They are mere machines in some ways, and only do what they must.
We have the capacity to change direction and make a creative future. As one volunteer to another, I welcome you to the forum in the event you want to discuss ideas.
