"You can be both brilliant and lack content in your posts. What I mean by lacking content is that you do not form coherent discussions that carry an argument to its fruition (although lately you have started to do so)."
I respond:
That's a crock, Harv. Unless there's a mirror site where they're switching my posts for yours,
this applies to you more than me. I have 422 college quarter hours at about 3.4 gpa and served as an Air Force base newspaper editor with 10,000 readership. I have been a Democratic nominee for state legislature -- my filing fee was paid by the state party here in Washington.
How have your writing content skills been proven?
You have posted no biography at all.

"What frustrates me about you (as I was with Alex) is that you don't try."
"For example, I know that Alex had the ability to argue indepthly, but he gained a reputation for citing trite dogmatic statements (e.g., math=physics, etc). This was clearly a lack of content for a brilliant individual. Unfortunately it appears that Alex grew weary of this forum, so he has apparently moved on (a great loss for us)."
I respond:
But you did not tell Alex he is mentally ill...in fact, you were swooning in print over the great privilege of exchanging bilge with him.
A great loss (sniff) ...although he has been posting on the black holes forum here at astronomy.net. You're not very observant, Harv.

"Whereas a dogmatic view limited Alex, I'm afraid that what limits your view is something that is overpowering you and that has made you ill."
We have discussed this before. I wrote that I objected to how the mental health system was used to further the political goals of tyrants and phonies...what are you, a Mormon? A quasi-Jew like Yanniru? (I have no idea if that guy really exists by that name...he is not believable as a Jew or a Gentile.)
I don't like you, Harv. I don't wish you well any more. I don't want your correspondence following my posts unless I refer to you.
You have a legal right, of course, to disregard my feelings on that. But I don't think it would stop you even if you had no legal right.
I think some readers here silently reckon that my dislike of you is due to my sober good judgment.
Being anonymous, you could leave me alone, and not respond to my posts unless I refer to you, and it is no loss of face for you. Please do that.
Warm regards,
Mike
