The poem of Science and God
*first draft

Of science and god the forum spake
with metaphors to fill a lake
in fact the water there is clear
'tis only us, filled with soup and beer

The reason to rhyme in this subject sublime
may escape the person of learning
Unless you have time to make pretty the lines
which channel your knowledge inferning.

On Einstein, on Fermi, on Darwin, on Mendel,
On Newton, on Fudd, on Nobel, on what's her name,
when what to my wondering eyes should appear?
Oh, no...it wasn't Rudolph....it was what's his name...
