How Much Shall We Labor To Empower Them?

Very interesting. In the past, Christianity has deemed such societies as heathen, and therefore has endeavoured to wipe out those beliefs. But science, particularly the anthropological sciences, do empower them. However, such societies are then protected by societies with superior science.

What we see in the world is that if fundamental religion becomes too strong, it undermines the freedom to do science. It happened in Islam and it is could happen in America. We see the forces at work in several state govts and even in the US govt .

I think we should worship the laws of physics as if they were given to us by god. They are the most fundamental laws we have, superceding any scriptural laws or cosmology. Yet at the same time we should subject these laws to critical analysis and attempt to attain a deeper understanding of them. This is one way to come to realize god.
