I have watched his trial on the BBC News channel here in UK when they have it on usually through the morning at about 9:00am.

I watched him give his defence the other day and found it fascinating how he managed to in a way sheild himself from all those events.

I think people are just not interested is for two reasons. The length of the trial and the fact that it hasnt really affected others in the world like the Nuremburg trials did after the Second World War.
