Fade's problem is that he has accepted a naturalistic view of a supernatural event. He is attempted to explain in natural terms what God brought about in a supernatural manner. If a miracle could be explained in natural terms, it ceases to be a miracle. That is too simple to miss.

Then how does one know if a miracle has indeed occured, and wasn't some rare natural phenomenon?
