It appears an idea here will follow the
pattern found elsewhere and illuminated by
many science writers:

1) The idea is ignored by persons who consider themselves to be "set apart" as authorities by
some clandestine power-hench

2) The idea's carriers will be treated to a little patronizing and a little sabotage and torrents of very vague verbiage

3) The idea is gradually understood by the
power-hench and they begin to advance it as
their own, in a very clumsy manner.

4) They begin to imply that some persons, who were stating this idea more clearly. had actually
held the opposite view.
