Sometimes we have no power over circumstances. Believers who show some degree of faith and pray for a miracle are powerless to raise a hand. Someone with cancer or to that effect cannot directly do anything but hope for the best. I agree that divine intervention sometimes needs to be worked at to show God your faith. God spared Isaac's life after Abraham proved his faith and obiedience. Did Abraham hope that things would work out? Of course he did. But he was prepared for the worse. Miracles happen in little ways by human intervention and big ways..divine... |
