It appears as if you did not understand my last missive. We have apparently agreed upon one concept "The Universe" and I am now trying to obtain agreement on a second, different concept which I called "your mental image of the Universe". The issue here being that this second concept is "some figment of your imagination". The fundamental point not being whether it is a good representation or a bad representation but rather that you think it is at least a usable representation (a tool as you say). The only thing I am trying to convey is that these are two different concepts and I wish to speak about them separately.

I hope that clarifies it a bit -- Dick
