***I believe we're talking about the accusation that Harv is ruining the forum. Harv thinks that reflects negatively on the person who said it. However . . . When Alex said virtually the same thing 10 ways about Mike, Harv said that Alex is nice and fair, and basically that Alex only bites people who bite him first.***

That's not exactly what I said. What I said was:

"With Alex we are talking about someone who knows his stuff and is willing to show you where you are wrong."

"Alex is willing to argue and debate before he insults (as long as the position is not completely obtuse)"

"He is rude if someone is rude to him, and if he sees you ignoring (or ignorant of) what he considers obvious facts of science then he can be even ruder. One area that he is not rude is if you are successfully engaging him in a dispute of evidence."

So, I tried to capture the essence of Alex. Of course, you caught him on his more ruder side.

***Then Harv said that Mike was discouraging others from, Harv did not condescend to argue with Mike's logic -- After two months of Mike's posts, Harv just objected to Mike's multiple user names, at the same time saying that names do not matter. Confusing.***

Mike, you were responding to yourself. I think my comments were in response to that.

Take Care, Harv
