IF we assume it's true that omnipotent and omniscient God cannot BOTH
1) grant free will and
2) punish all wrong choices
because the definitions conflict, meaning
there's no sense even telling us about it....

THEN we have an opportunity to design a
prospective system of "theology" which
grants this. Even if it's only on the
drawing table, we might learn something...
and even have something to pray about

and sometimes debate toward enactment?
