That Doesn't Make Any Sense To Me

If Linde is saying that all sorts of universes are caused by his eternal inflation model, then all sorts of universes would be produced (some looking like our universe). On the other hand, if Smolin's model rests on axioms of string theory, then really we have to focus on string theory and why string theory is true (i.e., why string theory and not some other mathematically constructible possible theory or why even mathematics at all). The fine-tuning is just a result of something much more fundamental having little to do with blackholes.
