Like good and evil. For some it may imply god and the devil. My point is that the process of evolution, namely survival of the fittest, justifies war, etc.

That is over simplified of course. Dogs have evolved via selective breeding. It's not clear that selective breeding can be called evil.

Humans are similarly selective in choosing mates, with the least attractive being left out of reproduction. Hence, more and more attractive humans naturally evolve, but by survival of the most attractive. I cannot call that evil.

So it's a mixed bag. Clearly evolution is more complex than just survival of fittest. In some cases it's survival of the most cooperative.

So I cannot say to a fundamentalist that evolution is the work of the devil. It's more complex than that. And I do mean it to be an adjective, not a force. Although it could be modeled as a force in a compouter simulation.
