Science deals with facts (reproducible observations), theology - NOT with facts (but with mostly NON-reproducible and non-observable entities called miracles, myths, gods, etc).


Thus the predictions (call them models of reality) of science agrees with observable facts much better than the predictions (models of reality) of theology.


Philosophy uses observable facts too, but due to lack of use of advanced logic (=math) it is way more subjective than science when it comes to complex systems or complex issues.


So, personal preference boils to what you personally like more: 1)facts about nature working (then you have to use science), or 2)fiction which does not agree with facts at all (use religion then), or variety of opinions in between (use a philosophy then - you can find practically any opinion there).
