You consider human important, universe does not at all. Humans live in a planet which is just one out of 9 or so in a mediocre solar system among billions other solar systems, located in remote corner of Milky Way galaxy (far from galactic center), and Milky Way is nothing else but one out of billions of other bunches of stars floating around universe -nothing special here too.

Solar system was born out of gas and dust about 5 billion years ago - nothing special about this time on the time scale of universe (universe is 15 billion years old or so).

So, what is special about humans (or other civilizations) you are talking about?

May be the fact that we have 10 fingers is special? One head? Short memory? Poor brain uncapable even to do simple algebraic clculations? Rich imagination - we can "see" or dream even what does not exist (ghosts, angels, little devils, our dead relatives, etc)?
