It Is Better To Try To Understand The Heavens

Rob,

I enjoy viewing the heavens, however I have just as much interest in viewing the microcosm. To be honest, having an understanding of the science and philosophy that sheds light onto our most distant observations is far more interesting. This is why my most astronomers aren't just taking pictures, they are much more engaged in analyzing the data. Of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg - there is much more to discuss when the 'bigger questions' are raised.
