In interpreting "God's will" THAT way, only hindsight would tell us God's will.
Yet many events must not have been according to
the Highest Will, or we would not investigate the
the so-called "problem of evil."
By calculating risk and managing it,
we can compose the strategies
for protecting Earth and one another
and ourselves.
A famous quote
from Al Einstein is,"I want to know God's thoughts. The rest is details."
Prayer to God may help greatly & also may pose
a risk if persons use it to replace evolving
our complex understanding of cause and effect.
Better both to pray and learn science, I think,
AND participate in spontaneous fun, theater & arts .
Maybe "higher thought" is a miracle
since it provides "options" where we
help create the future. With much respect
for Darwin's system, the "drawing board"
seems a wild card never seen before in
natural selection.
By definition,
it is "artificial selection," and that's
a little scary because it may mean wrong ideas
can cause humans to kill one another or the
biosphere. Yet here it is, with us always now.
Working for God whom they still inquired to
understand . . .has inspired some of history's
greatest scientists, mathematicians and builders...

Does this mean we are trying to
influence 'God's' belief about
how earnestly we are interested
in not dying? As Harv described,
physical efforts will be part of
the deal. A lot of God's will
is "up to us" then?
Trying to understand God's beliefs
right here with us!

we can weigh the strategies
