The Math Seems To Be Descrete

Dick sequences concepts as pure numbers like 1, 5, 10, etc. He does not seem to invoke a continium of numbers like 1.1, 1.11, 1.112, etc. or even irrational numbers like e or pi.

So I do not see how he can reproduce physical laws using only descrete math. Do you?
