Earnest charity for the poor of heart

in December 1975, only 96 years after Einstein's birth,

my brother wrote this sternly:
REASON
LOGIC
LAW
in capital letters
on my writing paper in a small shared apartment Pasco, Wash.; then he went away for the night.
I wrote in pencil an imaginative reverie about travel at c^3 and what would enable it, and how it would feel...
a scheme others have done before and since...
imagining a hierarchy of universes even beneath atoms, and above the size of galaxies
It was fun...one light bulb and for company, one mouse, most likely now deceased
Earlier that winter I had mentally travelled outside the galaxy, with vivid impressions whether actual or
imagined.
