 They concluded that there is NO more than 3 space dimensions in our bent universe. All the models which agree with observable facts are 3-dimensional models. No need in higher dimensions, and no signature of them. By "signature" I mean the same all scientists mean - any observable effect (of existence of higher dimensions)  - say, deviation from inverse squares, or any other consequence of extra degree of freedom.
