If any of object in our world would have 4-th degree of freedom to move, we would notice it. In deviations from inverse square (for example, for gravity, if gravitons were able to move in 4th or more dimensions). So far none "extra" dimensions were found for gravity in all range of available measurements (from few tenth of mm to the size of visible universe). Same for electromagnetic inverse square law - from 10^-18 m to hundred thousands km.

So, the large 4th (and more) dimension the space may be "bent into gravitationally", experimentally does not exist.
