It's amazing...our brains do "slope-finding"
faster than any whiz mathematician, whenever
you chase a flying baseball. Slope finding is
of course all there is of calculus.

Our chauvanism about formal operations is all
fine except in my experience, the office-holders
mostly use it to keep their positions secure, not to seek truth.

'til the alpha primates are more rational,
I'll let gently expressed informal thought
have more benefit of doubt than
conceited promises of formal rigor which don't
actually get to the finish line -- they just keep strutting around...because we love it when you do that.
