They Will Have To Learn How To Redesign

Once they learn to redesign and rebuild themselves, presuming that the slave humans provide the raw materials, then there is no end to their possible complexity. They will have biological technology at their disposal as well.

By my theory of afterlife, the dark matter/axion theory, they could have a soul as well. A little biology might be necessary, but that is not clear. According to Penrose, all that is needed is sufficient complexity and nanotechnology.
