Is this a valid link? The URL doesn't seem to exist.

I think the "last piece" of the 21st century aether (a.k.a. 'standard model') may just be a pipe dream; certainly the entire ugly model may just be a gross violation of Occam's Razor.

Then again, maybe we just haven't come up with a powerful enough accelerator to crack open the last piece. (BTW, I thought nothing we had [including CERN] is powerful enough to find this particle...?)

But, good luck convincing the "dinosaurs" around here... I bet the 19th century physicists aren't ready for that one just yet.
