Can Resurrection Be A Form Of Awakening?

I am, at the present, inclined to believe that it is mostly to do with the type of diet and the atmosphere in which we live in. It seems that one person alone is mostly incapable of committing a crime of violence except perhaps oneself. Only when an animal or another person interacts one can see the result of the contact. It was reported that Saddam Hussein often placed cat’s heads in doorways and slammed the door on the cat's head. What causes this behavior in a person? What can science do, if anything, to awaken this person? I am inclined to believe that there is a medication that has the properties necessary to awaken a sadist in such a way that the crime of the sadist will be made manifest to the same sadist criminal. Could it be that sadists and violent people simply do not see their own error? The patient might have to be closely monitored because the effects of the realization might be too counterproductive in that the individual might harm himself or herself upon the realization. (Could this painful realization, if and when it does become painful, also be the hell to which religious doctrines refer to?)

Best Regards,
