: : If god created the universe. Who or what created god? Did a greater GOD create the (somewhat lesser)god that then created the universe? Did then a greater greater GOD create the greater God that created that God that created our universe?? As you can see this gets rather ambiguous! If god doesn't need a creator then why does the universe(or humans)?

: To dismiss something just because you don't know how it came about is ridiculously stupid and arrogant.

: Would you like to explain to me, how the idea of God/Bible/etc. came about? Maybe some guy decided that he would travel the world and make up this great being, with the hope that everyone would believe him? And they did? : Could it be it's all one huge conspiracy? : Maybe "Jesus" was a wizard using magic and creditting it to God?

: What?

: Secondly, to assume that we are the highest forms of being in the entire Multiverse is equally preposterous. Perhaps God has no concept of time or has a concept of time but is not bound by it.

You answered the first question for me. I assume you are refering to christianity because you mention Jesus.

All people know that rumors can get blow all out of proportion. Take for example, a young child bringing a Boy Scout pocket knife to show and tell. By the end of the day all the kids in the class say it was a Rambo knife. What I'm trying to say is that maybe Jesus(the man)didn't do anything unbelievable or mysterious. Whatever he did do could have gotten blow out of proportion. I'm not assuming that we are the highest for of life at all. If I have an ant farm and I can control all aspects of their life(food, temp, breeding ect.)would I be a God to the ants?(simply because they don't understand me)?? There may be much more advanced forms of life in the universe but does that make them our God??
