In my utter obtuseness I cannot see how a competent physicist can state authoritatively that not everything is expanding, only space is expanding, when it's easy to imagine that universal expansion would conceal itself by virtue of its universality. I think this situation must be similar to the difficulties some folks had convincing others that the earth is not flat. |
