Interesting topic. I have read of people that had near death experiences, and that they say that the euphoria of feeling expells earthly loss. In the book of Timothy it is said that when man dies his thoughts perish. And in Cornithians it is said that "earthly pleasures cease" and you become one with God. If that is true, then why care of loved ones still alive on earth. It really doesn't say we go to heaven, but the kingdom of God. In Revelation and Book of John it states that while the saved souls are in the Kingdom of God he will watch over us from Heaven. Two separate places. Perhaps they are on a different plane of existance. Jesus said "In my house there are many mansions". Revelations vaugely describes heaven to have many levels and each level had a purpose. Also the old ancient Greek language states the "hell" means "grave". There are excerpts of that being the case. Unfortunatly there a few conderdictions of that.
