wasn't made clear. Of course I don't expect anyone to work on producing such a formula. The intent was to consider the challenge as a thought experiment.

You are right about my expectations being too pessimistic. I actually do expect that we will eventually come to a complete understanding of reality. But when we do, I think the concepts involved will be outside the domain of what is considered the domain of science today. I also expect that neither of us will be alive in this form to witness it when it finally does happen.
