Alan is a very pleasant individual, and I catch myself yelling at him too.

I think it's because he expresses his ideas with a poor jumble of plain English, pseudo-scientific jabber, and nonsense. No offense (if you're reading this, Alan), but when you read what Alan says, you think "Boy, I wish he'd have expressed this a little more clearly."

It's not that he speaks (or thinks) on a different level; it's more a lack of education and organizational skills. The thrust of his ideas seems tempting, but the fleshing out of these ideas is (for lack of a better word) incoherent.

But I think (I hope) he's a very young man, and that these things will eventually happen. With some maturity and a lot of education, Alan's energy will get him far.
