You are mixing DISTANCE with COORDINATE. Travelling in space and returning to the SAME coordinate makes your total displacement (coordinate change) to be ZERO, but the DISTANCE you passed is not zero.

So, it is possible for anyone to change SPATIAL coordinate back and forth returning to the SAME coordinate as started from.

So, how about time now? How do you travel back and forth in time returning to the SAME time coordinate?

This is yourerror # 1.

Error # 2 is that you do not understand that we do NOT travel into the future as time goes by. At any given time you are still say, 1 year away from your future or from your past, and you can do NOTHING to get there NOW. If you still in doubts and still naively think that we are MOVING to the future, then show me, HOW can we go to the future and then return back to the present. (Like we do it in space all the time).

So, please THINK a little before using primitive math in WRONG way.
