Desperate Attempts Of Keeping Gods Alive?

How many more times should science evict gods from behind clouds, earthquakes and big bangs till believers stop pointing at any unknown phenomena saying - "there might be some god"?

Is not it embarassing - to watch how science always explained discovered events NATURALLY and what believers thought to be god of dark corner vanishes as science points light (=knowledge) to that corner?
