Jis,

First of all, though mine wasn't nearly as funny as yours, I don't see how you can be upset (considering your reference re: metacognitive skills).

Secondly, peace and debate are completely compatible. No matter what any of us says, it's just online debate. Even when the room gets 'ugly' the worst we can do is insults, and while some of these insults get really asinine, this is still compatible with peace.

In fact, I'd argue that healthy debate, in all situations, helps maintain peace. So, if you dish it out, be prepared to take it in.

And watch out for the yellow snow (Husky P).
